‘Living Well’ is commissioned by Rochdale Borough Council to provide integrated health and wellbeing services at local community venues across Rochdale. Our services are free to use, open to all people and can be accessed on a 121 basis, in groups or through volunteering schemes. We work with people to help improve wellbeing and have specific services to address:
Being more active and exercise
Reducing smoking and alcohol
Improving oral health
Stress and low mood
You decide what changes you want to make and we will work with you to help make those changes – and make them stick.
We also work closely with other organisations across the Rochdale borough such as Community Centres, Libraries, Link 4 Life, specialist agencies such as Petrus and other 3rd sector providers as well as local Council services. Living Well are committed to helping you to find the right support for your health and wellbeing - even if it isn’t something delivered directly by us. We believe people should be able to choose the support that is right for them and access it easily. You can also join us and help support other people in our community through volunteering and providing peer support.
